-You will be asked to lie down on an examination table.
-A small amount of water-based gel will be applied to your foot to help the ultrasound probe capture clear images. The radiologist will move the probe over the area of concern.
– The radiologist/ technician may ask you to move your foot or apply pressure to assess a specific area.
Duration: The scan typically takes 15-30 minutes.
After the Exam:
The gel will be wiped off, and you can resume normal activities.
